I was thinking about breeding since 2003. And then in fall 2003 I started to look actively different breeders pages. I didn't dare to run into something knew without really knowing what I was doing. And when I dicided to become a breeder, I wanted the best female and nothing less. ;)
I'm really fortuned to have friends who quided me and then I felt that I know much about pedigrees and I started to look various for sale -litters and plans. From the first day, I wanted a cat from foreign country. Especially Sweden ad Norway was in my mind, because there is norwegians heritage. And I think there are quite small circles in here Finland, so I needed to find something fresh. But this is only my opinnion. Cats are lovely no matter where they are born.
I was about looking - how many hundreds pedigrees, and then suddenly - this looks promising! And that was that. We send e-mails and then I just waited. There was 5 kittens (luckily 3 girls). One of the girls draw to my attention. But breeder also wanted her. But luckily thinks changed and she was mine! My sweet Yanna Yahoo (thanks to Emilia who come up with her name).
Yanna is just awsome and alive lady, whom our cats love (and of course we humans love also). She isn't so fisty they say that torties are, but she is our herd leader - absolutely the queen and everyone obey and respect her. She is vey independent (and warms slowly), but when she wants to be cuddle, she will take time and come to our laps to be cuddled (and you really don't be aloud to do anything else then)! She loves also to be comb and she loves food! She was also a super-mom who gave everything to her kittens and never even separated them from her ;) My beautiful queen :)
